Key and Peele voice Wendell & Wild in the upcoming Netflix film.
Wendell & Wild is from Henry Selick, director of The Nightmare Before Christmas and Coraline. For this Netflix movie, he teams up with Jordan Peele (Nope, Us, Get Out). Wendell & Wild is a new stop-motion feature about two scheming demon brothers voiced by Peele and Keegan-Michael Key voices Wild. They must face off against their arch-enemy to earn their way out of hell. Selick’s previous work includes Coraline, James, and The Giant Peach. Wendell & Wild hits Netflix on October 28th, and select theaters on October 21st.
Scheming demon brothers Wendell and Wild enlist the aid of 13-year-old Kat Elliot, a tough teen with a load of guilt, to summon them to the Land of the Living. But what Kat demands in return leads to a brilliantly bizarre and comedic adventure like no other. This animated fantasy defies the laws of life and death, all told through the hand-made artistry of stop motion.
This Netflix film features Lyric Ross as Kat, Angela Bassett as Sister Helley, James Hong as Father Bests, Sam Zelaya as Raul Seema, Virdi as Sloane, Tamara Smart as Siobhan, Ramona Young as Sweetie, and Ving Rhames as Buffalo Belzer. In addition, the rest of the cast includes Natalie Martinez, Tantoo Cardinal, Gabrielle Dennis, Igal Naor, David Harewood, Maxine Peake, and Gary Gatewood.
