The sequel picks up a few months after the first film’s events. It follows the uproarious escapades of the newly married couple Marcus (Lil Rel Howery) and Emily (Yvonne Orji). When Marcus unexpectedly secures an all-expenses-paid trip to a luxurious Caribbean resort, he invites his wildly uninhibited best friends, Ron (John Cena) and Kyla (Meredith Hagner). There are newly married and now have a baby. However, things take an unexpected turn when Kyla’s father, Reese (Steve Buscemi), freshly released from San Quentin, crashes the vacation at the worst possible moment. This unplanned visit derails Marcus’ carefully laid-out plans. It transforms the dream getaway into a whirlwind of chaos, leading to hilarious mishaps and outrageous situations that keep audiences in stitches.
