Ultraman reboot origins movie coming to Netflix.
Netflix will soon be releasing its CG-animated Ultraman feature film. It is in partnership with Tsuburaya Productions. The original series premiered in 1966. This film will be a reimagining of the character and feature a brand new story. In addition, this film aims to introduce the beloved Japanese hero to a new generation. No released date has been announced yet. Check out the synopsis below!
Synopsis
When baseball superstar Ken Sato returns home to Japan to pick up the mantle of Earth-defending superhero Ultraman, he quickly finds more than he bargained for. He is forced to raise his greatest foe’s offspring, a newborn Kaiju. Struggling to balance the roles of teammate and new father, Ken must confront his ego, his estranged father, and the conniving Kaiju Defense Force to rise up and discover what it truly means to be Ultraman.
