In this new chapter of the blockbuster Trolls franchise, Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake reprise their roles as the beloved Poppy and Branch, respectively. But this time around, there’s a twist: Poppy and Branch are now officially a couple, fondly referred to as #broppy by fans. As Poppy and Branch’s relationship deepens, Poppy stumbles upon a long-held secret of Branch’s past. He was once a part of her favorite boyband phenomenon, BroZone, which consisted of Branch and his four brothers: Floyd (Troye Sivan), John Dory (Eric André), Spruce (Daveed Diggs), and Clay (Kid Cudi). BroZone disbanded when Branch was just a baby, and since then, he hasn’t had any contact with his brothers.
However, their world is turned upside down when Branch’s brother, Floyd, is kidnapped by the devious pop-star villains Velvet (Amy Schumer) and Veneer (Andrew Rannells), who recognize Floyd’s musical talents. This sets Poppy and Branch on a thrilling and emotional quest to reunite the long-lost brothers and rescue Floyd from a fate even worse than pop-culture obscurity.True to the Trolls tradition, “Trolls Band Together” will feature a psychedelic explosion of new and classic pop hits that promise to keep toes tapping and hearts racing. The film boasts an all-star cast, including musical superstars and comedic powerhouses, who lend their voices to the franchise’s newest characters.
