Pinocchio starring Tom Hanks will premiere on Disney+.
Disney+ will premiere an all-new live-action Pinocchio film this September starring Tom Hanks. It is by Academy Award winner Robert Zemeckis. He is known for Back to the Future, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Cast Away, and Forrest Gump. This film is a live-action retelling of the beloved tale of a wooden puppet who embarks on a thrilling adventure to become a real boy. In addition to Hanks, he cast features Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who shares their favorite movie moments.
Synopsis
Tom Hanks stars as Geppetto. He is the wood carver who builds and treats Pinocchio (Benjamin Evan Ainsworth) as if he were his son. Joseph Gordon-Levitt is Jiminy Cricket, who serves as Pinocchio’s guide as well as his conscience. Cynthia Erivo is the Blue Fairy. Keegan-Michael Key is “Honest” John, Lorraine Bracco is Sofia the Seagull, a new character, and Luke Evans is The Coachman. Watch the trailer below!
