The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep will arrive on Netflix in late 2024.
In a thrilling expansion of The Witcher universe, Netflix will release “The Witcher: Sirens of The Deep.” It is an animated film that will take fans on a captivating journey into uncharted territories of The Continent. Scheduled for a late 2024 release, this latest installment is based on one of the original Witcher stories, “A Little Sacrifice,” by renowned Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski. The narrative of “Sirens of The Deep” follows Geralt of Rivia.
He is the mutated monster hunter brought to life by the talented Doug Cockle, reprising his role from The Witcher 3. Geralt is enlisted to probe a series of mysterious attacks plaguing a seaside village, thrusting him into a longstanding conflict between humans and merpeople. As tensions escalate dangerously, Geralt must rely on both familiar faces and new allies to untangle the centuries-old enigma before it sparks an all-out war between the two realms.
It takes place between Episodes 5 and 6 of The Witcher Season 1.
“Sirens of The Deep” will provide a unique narrative window. It will offer fans a deeper understanding of the events that transpired during this critical period in the series. The film will seamlessly weave into the Witcher storyline while introducing fresh perspectives and characters. The Witcher stars Anya Chalotra and Joey Batey will return to voice Yennefer of Vengerberg and Jaskier, respectively. Additionally, Christina Wren lends her voice to the new character Essi Daven. Even though Henry Cavill has left The Witcher, the saga continues with “Sirens of The Deep.” It promises to be a visually stunning and narratively rich addition to the lore.
