The Sandman adds an eleventh episode.

The Sandman Episode 11

The Sandman debuted all ten of its episode on August 5th. A surprising eleventh episode is now available on Netflix. It is a two-part episode. One is an animation about a Siamese cat dreaming of a new world. The other is live-action about a writer in desperate need of inspiration who crosses paths with Morpheus. The new two-part episode titled “A Dream of a Thousand Cats” and “Calliope” features Sandra Oh, James McAvoy, David Tennant, and Michael Sheen. No word yet on a Season Two. The Sandman is an adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s epic comic book series to Netflix. The series follows the people and places affected by Morpheus, the Dream King. It stars Charles Dance, Jenna Coleman, David Thewlis, Stephen Fry, Patton Oswalt, Joely Richardson, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, and Mason Alexander Park. Also, Mark Hamill will be the voice of Merv Pumpkinhead.

There is another world that waits for all of us when we close our eyes and sleep. It is a place called the Dreaming. This is where the Sandman, Master of Dreams (Tom Sturridge), gives shape to all of our deepest fears and fantasies. But when Dream is unexpectedly captured and held prisoner for a century, his absence sets off a series of events that will change both the dreaming and waking worlds forever. To restore order, Dream must journey across different worlds and timelines to mend his mistakes during his vast existence, revisiting old friends and foes and meeting new entities, both cosmic and human, along the way.
