The Mummy (1999), Starring Brendan Fraser Released In 4K HDR

Brendan Fraser became an action star in The Mummy.

Universal has announced the 4K HDR release of 1999’s The Mummy. The film starred  Brendan Fraser, Rachel Weisz, Arnold Vosloo, John Hannah, and Kevin J. O’Connor. It would spawn two The Mummy sequels and spin-offs. Below is a 4K HDR clip from the movie featuring Evelyn, played by Rachel Weisz. She reads from the Book of the Dead out loud and unintentionally awakens Imhotep. This causes all hell to break loose and prompts the group to run inside for their lives. While inside, Rick, played by Brendan Fraser, Evelyn, and others, comes across Imhotep but can escape him. Fraser, whose earliest role was Encino Man, will star in the upcoming film, The Whale.

Synopsis
