The story of “The Marvels” picks up where we last saw Carol Danvers, aka Captain Marvel, who has reclaimed her identity from the oppressive Kree regime. However, her actions set off a chain of unintentional consequences, leading her to face the challenges of a destabilized universe. As her duties take her through a strange wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, Carol’s powers become intertwined with those of Kamala Khan, the Jersey City super-fan turned superhero Ms. Marvel, and Captain Monica Rambeau, who is now an astronaut with S.A.B.E.R. Together, this trio must learn to work together and harness their unique powers to save the universe.
