The Last Of Us To Premiere This January

The Last Of Us series is based on the Naughty Dog Video Game.

HBO has confirmed the premiere date for the anticipated The Last of Us series. The nine-episode first season will debut Sunday, January 15th at 9 PM ET/PT. It will be available to stream in 4K on HBO Max. The series stars Pedro Pascal as Joel and Bella Ramsey as Ellie and is based on the critically acclaimed PlayStation video game series developed by Naughty Dog. The show also features Gabriel Luna, Merle Dandridge, Nico Parker, Murray Bartlett, Nick Offerman, Jeffrey Pierce, and Anna Torv. Watch the teaser below and take a look at the poster!


Synopsis

THE LAST OF US takes place 20 years after modern civilization has been destroyed. Joel, a hardened survivor, is hired to smuggle Ellie, a 14-year-old girl, out of an oppressive quarantine zone. What starts as a small job soon becomes a brutal and heartbreaking journey as they both must traverse the U.S. and depend on each other for survival.
