The Flash Director Andy Muschietti To Direct New Batman Film

The Flash is now playing in theaters.

With The Flash hitting theaters this weekend, high praise has been given to the DC film that features two Batmans. The film’s director, Andy Muschietti, will now direct the newly announced Batman film that is part of James Gunn’s DCU. The official announcement broke last night via Variety. Titled The Brave and The Bold, this Batman film will introduce Robin. But this time, the sidekick will be Damian Wayne, Bruce’s son. The story will tackle the unusual father-son relations inspired by Grant Morrison’s comic series. Andy Muschietti is a highly accomplished filmmaker, renowned for his contributions to the horror genre.
