The Flash And Elemental Box Office Showdown

The Flash goes head-to-head with Elemental.

The highly anticipated movie, The Flash, has finally hit the theaters after facing multiple release delays. This summer season is brimming with big-screen releases, and the latest DC film is pitted against Elemental, a Disney-Pixar offering. Despite an extended four-day weekend, both movies failed to impress at the box office. Although The Flash managed to secure the top position, its worldwide earnings were just $138,700,000, while Elemental made $49,260,506. These films faced tough competition from other blockbusters that are still showing in theaters, including Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, and The Little Mermaid. Some people seem to be losing interest in the typical blockbuster Summer Movies. For instance, Elemental had a disappointing opening weekend, with numbers even lower than the original ‘Toy Story’. Similarly, The Flash failed to meet expectations at the box office.
