GKIDS has unveiled the new English-language trailer for “The Boy and the Heron.” It is the latest masterpiece from the legendary Hayao Miyazaki. This Oscar-winning filmmaker is known for creating enchanting worlds, and “The Boy and the Heron” is no exception. What sets this film apart is the stellar voice cast. It features the voices of Christian Bale, Dave Bautista, Gemma Chan, Willem Dafoe, Karen Fukuhara, Mark Hamill, Robert Pattinson, and Florence Pugh. Watch the trailer below!
“The Boy and the Heron” will hit theaters nationwide on December 8, 2023. It will offered in both the original Japanese version and the English language version. This hand-drawn, animated feature marks director Hayao Miyazaki’s return to feature filmmaking after a decade. With an original story, a musical score by Joe Hisaishi, and a theme song by global J-pop superstar Kenshi Yonezu, this new film is set to enchant and inspire audiences with its timeless storytelling and breathtaking animation.
