The Black Phone is the latest film from Blumhouse.

The Blumohuse horror film starring Ethan Hawke is now streaming on Peacock. The story is by Joe Hill, who wrote this as a short story in 2004. Hill is the son of Stephen King, aka King of Horror. The Black Phone is directed by Scott Derickson, the writer-director of Sinister, The Exorcism of Emily Rose, and Marvel’s Doctor Strange. Hawke plays the terrifying character The Grabber, which may be his most sinister role. The film also features Mason Thames, Madeline McGraw, James Ransone, and Miguel Cazarez Mora. Synopsis

Finney is a 13-year-old boy who’s being held captive in a soundproof basement by a sadistic, masked killer. When a disconnected phone on the wall starts to ring, he soon discovers that he can hear the voices of the murderer’s previous victims.
