The world of Beanie Babies explores in The Beanie Bubble.
“The Beanie Bubble will premiere in select theaters on July 21. It will have a global release on Apple TV+ on July 28, 2023. This Apple Original Film promises to be an entertaining and thought-provoking experience that delves into the world of Beanie Babies. The married directing duo of Kristin Gore and Damian Kulash, Jr. infuses their unique perspectives into the film. Gore, known for her work on acclaimed movies like “Her” and “Foxcatcher,” showcases her storytelling prowess, while Kulash, Jr., the lead singer of the popular band OK Go, adds his artistic sensibilities to the project.
At the story’s center lies the question: Why did the world suddenly treat stuffed animals like gold? The film revolves around the character of Ty Warner. He is a frustrated toy salesman whose collaboration with three women catapults his innovative idea into the biggest toy craze in history.
