The Batman opens up at the top spot at the box office.
The Batman starring Robert Pattinson as the Dark Knight has a big opening weekend. The Matt Reeves directed film opened up at the number 1 spot at the box office. It has a current global box office total of $248,500,000. Domestically it brought in $128 Million. This year the box office has been substantial thanks to Tom Holland-led Spider-Man: No Way Home and Uncharted, SCREAM, and Jackass Forever. Surprisingly the 3-hour run time has not impacted The Batman’s performance at the box-office.
Synopsis
When the Riddler, a sadistic serial killer, begins murdering key political figures in Gotham, Batman is forced to investigate the city’s hidden corruption and question his family’s involvement.
