The Batman continues to dominate the box office.
The Batman has already doubled its budget to date, raking in a global total of $463,220,826. It is now the second biggest pandemic grosser domestically. It will soon hit the $500 Million milestone. The Matt Reeves directed film opened up at the number 1 spot at the box office and continues to hold that spot but for how long as Sonic The Hedgehog 2 approaches. This weekend the only new movies were Turning Red and The Adam Project. Both were streaming films via Disney+ and Netflix. With the quick success of The Batman, a new series following The Penguin has been announced for HBO Max.
Synopsis
When the Riddler, a sadistic serial killer, begins murdering key political figures in Gotham, Batman is forced to investigate the city’s hidden corruption and question his family’s involvement.
