Universal’s The Bad Guys from DreamWorks Animation opened up at number 1 over the weekend. Based on the New York Times, best-selling book series by Aaron Blabey, the film is about a crackerjack criminal crew of animal outlaws who are about to attempt their most challenging con yet, becoming model citizens. The Bad Guys brought in $87,113,000 worldwide and had a $70 million budget. Domestically it brought in $24 Million and beat out The Northman and The Unbearable Weight Of Massive Talent. Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore only held the number 1 spot for one week.
