The horror film ‘Thanksgiving’ is from the mind of Eli Roth.

“Thanksgiving,” the highly anticipated film initially teased as a fake trailer during the Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez double feature Grindhouse, is generating buzz as it prepares to hit the silver screen. The film’s synopsis sets the stage for a gripping tale as it unfolds in Plymouth, Massachusetts, the birthplace of Thanksgiving. After a Black Friday riot ends in tragedy, the town becomes the hunting ground for a sinister Thanksgiving-inspired killer. What initially appears to be random revenge killings soon becomes part of a larger, more evil holiday scheme. As the killer methodically picks off residents one by one, the town’s survival hangs in the balance. Audiences will be left wondering if Plymouth will uncover the identity of the murderer and endure the holidays or find themselves unwitting guests at a twisted holiday dinner table. Directed by horror maestro Eli Roth, “Thanksgiving” promises to deliver an intense and suspenseful cinematic experience. The screenplay is by Jeff Rendell, with the story co-created by Roth and Rendell. Fans should be ready for unexpected twists and horrors.
