TED Returns With A Brand New Series

Seth McFarlane is bringing TED back for a new series.

The beloved and irreverent teddy bear TED is back; this time, he’s taking viewers on a nostalgic journey to the ’90s. Premiering on Peacock on January 11th, the new Ted series serves as a comedic prequel to the iconic Ted films, offering fans a deeper look into the life of the foul-mouthed bear. Watch the teaser trailer below!

Set in 1993, Ted, voiced by Seth MacFarlane, finds himself far from the limelight, residing in his hometown of Framingham. Living under the same roof as his best friend, 16-year-old John Bennett (Max Burkholder), along with John’s parents, Matty and Susan (Scott Grimes and Alanna Ubach), and cousin Blaire (Giorgia Whigham), Ted navigates the challenges of post-fame life. Despite his waning celebrity, Ted proves to be a lousy yet endearing influence on young John. The series explores their dynamic, showcasing the enduring loyalty and friendship between the anthropomorphic bear and his human companion. Ted’s willingness to go to great lengths for their friendship adds layers to the character, offering a fresh perspective for both new and longtime fans.

This prequel series is a time capsule, transporting viewers back to the iconic ’90s. The creators, led by Seth MacFarlane, have meticulously crafted the setting. They bring the era’s nostalgia to life through cultural references, fashion choices, and a soundtrack. They all capture the spirit of the time. The last two Ted movies left audiences craving more. This series provides the perfect opportunity to delve deeper into the beloved character’s backstory.

So mark your calendars for January 11th as Ted makes a triumphant return to the small screen. This new series promises laughter, nostalgia, and a closer look at the origins of one of the most iconic friendships in cinematic history. Watch more Trailers and Subscribe to our YouTube.
