The Street Fighter franchise is getting another live-action movie.

According to Deadline, which has been confirmed, Legendary has secured the live-action film and TV rights for Capcom’s video game franchise Street Fighter. The iconic video game will have multiple projects developed alongside Capcom, including a feature film. Since 1987, more than 49 million units worldwide have been sold. The highly anticipated Street Fighter 6 will release on June 2, 2023. The last film to adapt the video game was in 1994 and starred Jean-Claude Van Damme as Guile. It also featured Raul Julia as M. Bison, Ming-Na Wen as Chung-Li, and Kylie Minogue as Cammy. An anime series was also released in 1995. In 2009, Smallville’s Kristin Kruek starred in The Legend of Chun-Li. It featured Michael Clarke Duncan as Balrog and Neal McDonough as M. Bison.
