Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Trailer Reveals Lower Decks Live-Action Crossover

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 2 is coming this June.

Star Trek: Lower Decks Tawny Newsome as Beckett Mariner and Jack Quaid as Brad Boimler.

Paramount+ has released the trailer for the highly anticipated second season of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. The trailer below reveals a first look at the previously announced special crossover episode featuring Lower Decks. Tawny Newsome as Beckett Mariner and Jack Quaid as Brad Boimler are in live-action form aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise. The series stars Anson Mount, Rebecca Romijn, Ethan Peck, Jess Bush, Christina Chong, Celia Rose Gooding, Melissa Navia, and Babs Olusanmokun. In addition, special guest star Paul Wesley as James T. Kirk will return. Season two will premiere on June 15th, 2023.


The crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise, under the command of Captain Christopher Pike, confronts increasingly dangerous stakes, explores uncharted territories, and encounters new life and civilizations. The crew will also embark on personal journeys that will continue to test their resolve and redefine their destinies. Facing new and familiar friends and enemies, their adventures will unfold in surprising ways never seen before on any “Star Trek” series.
