Crhis Pine and Zachary Quinto will return for a 4th Star Trek film.

J.J. Abrams has announced that a new Star Trek film will be shooting by the end of the year. It will feature the original cast and some new characters. This 4th film will be more fun and exciting to help take the franchise into areas never seen before. It will be directed by WandaVision’s Matt Shakman. It is expected to hit theaters on December 22rd, 2023. Abrams directed the 2009 film and its 2013 sequel, Into The Darkness, before handing off directorial duties to Justin Lin in 2016’s Star Trek Beyond.
