Spy Kids Netflix Reboot Casts Gina Rodriguez, Zachary Levi

Robert Rodriguez is rebooting his Spy Kids franchise for Netflix.

Spy Kids reboot from Robert Rodriguez has cast Gina Rodriguez and Zachary Levi as the new parents. In addition, newcomer Connor Esterson has also been cast as the kids. The franchise’s original creator and director, Robert Rodriguez, returns to write, direct and produce the next film. It will introduce the world to a new family of spies. Rodriguez launched Spy Kids with the original movie in 2001. It was followed by The Island Of Lost Dreams (2002), 3-D: Game Over (2003), and All The Time In The World (2011). Collectively, the franchise has earned over $550 million at the worldwide box office


When the children of the world’s greatest secret agents unwittingly help a powerful Game Developer unleash a computer virus that gives him control of all technology, they must become spies themselves to save their parents and the world.
