Disney’s timeless gem “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” to dazzle audiences in 4K UHD.

Disney has announced that the iconic “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” debuted on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray. It will be available on October 10. This marks the first time the treasured classic will be available in stunning 4K UHD, opening up a new realm of visual enchantment. This film is Walt Disney Animation Studios’ very first animated feature. It has been restored and remastered in a groundbreaking effort. This momentous undertaking forms part of The Walt Disney Studios’ extensive restoration program, harnessing new scans of the original nitrate negative. The result is a cinematic masterpiece that stays true to the original while going under enhancement with the brilliance of 4K technology.

The restoration project received invaluable creative input from Disney Animation luminaries Eric Goldberg and Michael Giaimo. Goldberg is a modern master of Disney animation, and Giaimo’s work features “Frozen” and “Pocahontas.” This restoration effort holds a place of honor in Disney’s 100th-anniversary celebrations, a testament to the film’s enduring legacy. Following the successful 4K UHD release of “Cinderella” earlier this year, this restoration reaffirms Disney’s commitment to bringing its beloved classics to the forefront of modern cinematic technology. This edition will be available nationwide in a collectible O-sleeve. It includes a special Steelbook from Best Buy and Disney100 edition slipcovers with a collectible pin from Walmart.
