Nickelodeon Studios is making a brand new Snow Day movie for Paramount+. It is a musical re-imagining of the 2000 beloved comedy classic film. The film follows a group of kids determined to achieve their dreams when school closes for a snow day. Emmy Award-winner Michael Lembeck directs Snow Day. He is best known for The J Team, Queen Bees, The Santa Clause 2 and 3, and Tooth Fairy. It is premiering on Paramount+ and Nickelodeon on December 16th, 2022. Watch the trailer below!
Synopsis
Siblings Hal (Ky Baldwin, Peter Allen: Not the Boy Next Door) and Natalie Brandston (Michaela Russell, WandaVision) discover that anything is possible on a snow day. When a surprise winter whiteout offers them the chance to break routines, take giant risks and follow their dreams. Inspired to pursue his crush, Claire Bonner (Shelby Simmons, Bunk’d), Hal enlists the help of his best friend, Lane (Fabi Aguirre, “Les Misérables” on Broadway), to help him express his feelings. Natalie decides she must challenge her arch-nemesis, the Snowplowman (Jerry Trainor, iCarly), if she wants to pull off the task of creating a second snow day.
