Spider-Man characters owned by Sony will be developed into TV projects.

Amazon has announced it is working with Sony on a live-action series based on the Spider-Man character Silk. Initially reported by Variety, Amazon has ordered multiple MArvel/Sony projects. Silk: Spider Society will be the first series to come to television. The series will be from The Walking Dead” showrunner Angela Kang and Phil Lord and Christopher Miller. of Into the Spider-Verse. The character from Marvel is a Korean-American woman named Cindy Moon who was bitten by the same spider that bit Peter Parker. Moon escapes imprisonment and searches for her missing family on her way to becoming the superhero known as Silk.
