Rebel Moon is the 2-part science-fantasy movie event from filmmaker Zack Snyder. He is known for his work on iconic films such as 300, Man of Steel, and Justice League. Snyder now brings a decades-in-the-making epic. He promises to transport viewers to a new universe of imagination. It will release on Netflix on December 22. Watch the trailer below!
The story unfolds on a moon in the farthest reaches of the universe.
On a distant moon in the universe’s outer reaches, peaceful farmers led by Kora (Sofia Boutella) are unexpectedly thrust into a conflict with the tyrannical Regent Balisarius (Fra Fee) and the ruthless Bloodaxes, led by Cleopatra Coleman and Ray Fisher. Kora, a mysterious figure with a hidden past, becomes the unlikely beacon of hope. Teaming up with Gunnar (Michiel Huisman), a tenderhearted farmer, Kora leads a diverse group of warriors on a perilous journey across worlds, including Kai (Charlie Hunnam), General Titus (Djimon Hounsou), Nemesis (Doona Bae), Tarak (Staz Nair), and Milius (E. Duffy). As they confront trust, unity, and a common purpose, this newfound army of heroes must stand together against overwhelming forces threatening their existence on the unlikeliest of moons.
