Jon Bernthal to suit up once again as Punisher.
It looks like Jon Bernthal will return as the Punisher for Marvel Studios. Most likely a big announcement for the upcoming D23 convention, Rosario Dawson seemed to have spilled the beans prematurely. During her panel at C2E2, she mentioned discovering that the Punisher was happening again the other day. Bernthal played the Marvel character in the Netflix series, which debuted in 2017. It lasted for two seasons before being canceled due to Disney+ launching and Marvel Studios wanting more control over its series division. A new Punisher series would make sense since Daredevil: Born Again was announced. Watch the clip below.
