Predator prequel Prey is an all-new action-thriller from 20th Century Studios. It is from director Dan Trachtenberg, known for The Boys and 10 Cloverfield Lane. This film is the newest entry in the “Predator” franchise. In addition, production of Prey provides an accurate portrayal of the Comanche. It features a cast comprised almost entirely of Native and First Nation’s talent. Prey stars Amber Midthunder, Dakota Beavers, Stormee Kipp, Michelle Thrush, and Julian Black Antelope. Prey will stream on August 5, 2022, exclusively on Hulu. Watch the teaser below!
Synopsis
Prey is set in the Comanche Nation 300 years ago. It is the story of a young woman, Naru. She is a fierce and highly skilled warrior, raised in the shadow of some of the most legendary hunters who roam the Great Plains. One day she sets out to protect her people when danger threatens her camp. Unfortunately, the prey she stalks and ultimately confronts turns out to be a highly evolved alien predator with a technically advanced arsenal. As a result, a vicious and terrifying showdown between the two adversaries ensues.
