Pet Sematary: Bloodlines is a prequel to the book.

Paramount+ has just unveiled the official trailer for the highly anticipated horror film, “PET SEMATARY: BLOODLINES.” This spine-chilling prequel will dive into the darkest corners of Stephen King’s iconic novel. It will offer a terrifying exploration of the origins behind the eerie resurrection of the dead in the seemingly idyllic town of Ludlow, Maine. The film will premiere on October 6th. It promises to deliver an unsettling narrative that uncovers the sinister secrets lurking beneath Ludlow’s tranquil facade. The horror film will also take center stage at Fantastic Fest, the renowned genre and horror festival in Austin, Texas, building anticipation for its international release. Watch the trailer below!

The movie boasts an impressive. It includes Jackson White, Forrest Goodluck, Jack Mulhern, Henry Thomas, Natalie Alyn Lind, Isabella Star LaBlanc, Samantha Mathis, Pam Grier, and David Duchovny. The film is set against the backdrop of 1969. It follows the young Jud Crandall’s desire to escape Ludlow. However, as he delves deeper into the town’s history, he uncovers evil forces hidden within its confines. This forces him and his childhood friends to confront an ancient evil that has plagued Ludlow since its inception. “PET SEMATARY: BLOODLINES” weaves a gripping tale of terror. It sheds light on why the adage “sometimes dead is better” holds an ominous truth in this chilling prequel to Stephen King’s timeless horror classic.
