Synopsis
Crystal Lake’s history of murder doesn’t deter counselors from setting up a summer camp in the woodsy area. Superstitious locals warn against it, but the fresh-faced young people pay little heed to the old-timers. Then they find themselves stalked by a brutal killer. The counselors struggle to stay alive against a merciless opponent as they’re slashed, shot, and stabbed.
After a 9th film that debuted in 1993, the franchise took a hiatus. IT would not be until 2002 when the Friday the 13th Franchise sent the iconic killer to space in Jason X. The following year fans would get the ultimate crossover with Freddy vs Jason. In 2009 a soft reboot of the film hit theaters which took elements from the first four films.
