When Tim Morris meets his dream girl and their relationship quickly escalates through texts, he throws caution to the wind and invites her to his company’s corporate retreat on an island resort… However, when a past blind date from hell shows up at the airport for the weekend getaway instead, he learns too late that he’s been texting “The Wrong Missy”.
Adam Sandler’s Happy Madison production company has produced another comedy for Netflix starring his bestie David Spade who has been killing it lately on his talk show, Lights Out. He has always been underrated to me and has had a long road of proving himself to Hollywood. The Wrong Missy is hilarious from the very first scene to the last and despite David Spade being the lead actor in this movie, the real star is Lauren Lapkus who is the wrong Missy. She is completely outrageous throughout the movie and raises the bar of cruse comedy. There are also a lot of Happy Madison cameos from the Sandler gang that should remind you of the good ole days. The Wrong Missy is a movie filled with physical humor that should help you escape from the current situation that we are in.
I give The Wrong Missy a 7.5/10 and suggest you don’t bring the kids near this romance comedy.
