|Movie Review| Gemini Man (Spoiler Free)

In Development For 20 Years

The Fresh Prince adds another action flick to his resume with the help of the very accomplished director Ang Lee, who is best known for Crouching Tiger Hidden Tiger, Eric Bana’s Hulk, Brokeback Mountain and Life of Pi. You won’t hear me complaining about Will Smith’s acting, as I enjoy everything he is in regardless of the end product. For me, it is always a joy to watch him on the big screen or making fun videos on his social media. With both star and director carrying a solid resume, Gemini Man has to be a bulletproof masterpiece.

Gemini Man Gemini Man is an innovative action-thriller starring Will Smith Will Smith as Henry Brogan, an elite assassin, who is suddenly targeted and pursued by a mysterious young operative that seemingly can predict his every move. The film is directed by Academy Award-winning filmmaker Ang Lee and produced by renowned producer Jerry Bruckheimer.

Paramount Studios

Despite having an interesting concept, the plot ends up being too generic and cliche. The action scenes are great but are distracting at many times and it was hard to look past the unpolished CGI that is accompanied by an ultra-high frame rate which makes everything look strange. I don’t understand where the ball was dropped because a movie with such a talented cast and crew should have came out with a masterpiece. Sitting at close to 2 hours long this movie is drawn out to an ending that leaves us with more questions than answers.

I give Gemini Man a 5/10 and if you just feel like watching a movie starring Will Smith then skip this one and go straight to Bad Boys For Life.
