Mortal Kombat 2 has been confirmed with writer Jeremy Slater!

According to Deadline, Jeremy Slater has been hired to write the script for the direct sequel to Mortal Kombat. The first movie was released on HBO Max and in theaters April 2021 to lackluster reviews. It made $83,726,031 at the box office. Mortal Kombat is based on the video-game phenomenon first introduced to fans in 1992. Slater was the head writer on the Marvel’s Moon Knight series for Disney+ starring which stars Oscar Isaac, Ethan Hawke.
