Masters Of The Air – Series Teaser Trailer

Elvis star Austin Butler leads Masters of the Air.

Apple TV will premiere the much-awaited series “Masters of the Air” on January 26. This series will pay homage to the brave World War II airmen. It is produced by Steven Spielberg, Tom Hanks, and Gary Goetzman. They have worked together on “Band of Brothers” and “The Pacific.” The nine-part series promises to explore the 100th Bomb Group and the brotherhood forged in the crucible of courage, loss, and triumph.

The film is adapted from Donald L. Miller’s acclaimed book. John Orloff scripts it and will plunge audiences into the dangerous world of the “Bloody Hundredth.” Led by Elvis Star Austin Butler, the series recounts the gripping narratives of these airmen as they embark on hazardous bombing raids over Nazi Germany. The frigid conditions, lack of oxygen, and sheer terror of combat at 25,000 feet become a relentless backdrop, highlighting these young men’s extraordinary challenges. Watch the trailer below!

The rest of the cast features Callum Turner, Anthony Boyle, Nate Mann, Raff Law, Barry Keoghan, Josiah Cross, Branden Cook, and Ncuti Gatwa. At the core of “Masters of the Air” lies a poignant portrayal of the psychological and emotional toll exacted on these heroes. They played a pivotal role in dismantling Hitler’s Third Reich. The series navigates the diverse fates of these airmen. Some were shot down and captured, others wounded or killed, and a fortunate few made it home.
