Ana de Armas will star as Marilyn Monroe in the Netflix film Blonde. She spent nearly three hours in hair and makeup each morning to recreate Monroe’s look. Andrew Dominick’s upcoming film is adapted from Joyce Carol Oates’ 2000 fictional retelling of the same name. It boldly reimagines the complicated life of one of the biggest icons in history. It blurs the lines between fact and fiction. The film artfully explores the tension between her public and private life. Blonde premieres globally on Netflix on September 23rd.
