2022 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade Floats and Balloons.

The annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade was held today in New York City. Kids of all ages and parents were treated to tons of balloons and floats with a mix of pop culture icons. Below are some of the highlights from the 96th Annual parade.
Toys “R” Us Geoffrey’s Dazzling Dance Party
America’s favorite giraffe DJs down the Parade route on an all-new float, inspiring everyone to rediscover the magic of childhood. The giraffe accompanying the float is an inflatable costume worn by two people walking in tandem. Toys“R” Us is back & larger than life. It’s time for everyone to play.
Pinkfong Baby Shark
Baby Shark makes a splash in his first swim down the Parade route. Leading the way in sub-aquatic style are Mommy Shark, Daddy Shark, Grandma Shark & Grandpa Shark. The float’s underwater seascape features eight starfish & three different species of anemone.
Sesame Workshop
Sesame Street, the iconic children’s television show powered by Sesame Workshop, is helping kids worldwide grow smarter, stronger & kinder. This Thanksgiving, fans of all ages will enjoy seeing their Sesame Street friends as they join in the holiday celebration. This year, Sesame Street is celebrating its 46th appearance in the Parade.
Ronald McDonald’s Big Red Shoe Car
Ronald McDonald will cruise down the streets of NYC in his one-of-a-kind vehicle. Driving with him are his good friends Grimace & Hamburglar. The Big Red Shoe Car is equal to a men’s size 266 shoe.
Peanuts Worldwide Snoopy’s Doghouse
A cherished fan favorite, this float returns as mission control for the launch of Astronaut Snoopy, flying high above the streets.
The LEGO Group The Brick Changer
Behold the elaborate Brick-Changer float. Constructed with supersized LEGO bricks, this free-standing turkey dragon is a whimsical example of how kids of all ages are so passionate about bringing their ideas to life with this creative toy. Founded in 1932, this year, The LEGO Group celebrates its 90th Anniversary. The name ‘LEGO’ is an abbreviation of the two Danish words “leg godt,” meaning “play well.”
BBC BLUEY
This lovable pup from the global hit series arrives from Australia to explore the Big Apple for the first time.
Diary of a Wimpy Kid
Greg Heffley, the mega-popular star of the best-selling book series Diary of a Wimpy Kid, appears in Parade for the 13th time. Beware of the Cheese Touch! Things get cheesy in the third edition of this balloon as it makes its Parade debut to celebrate the release of the 17th book in the series, Diper Överlöde, on October 25.

Stuart, the Minion
The character from Illumination’s blockbuster comedy, Minions: The Rise of Gru, causes a little mischief as he makes his way down the Parade route for the first time. If you happen to be dressed as Stuart’s favorite food—watch out. He craves bananas that even a Thanksgiving feast can’t quash.
Toei Animation’s GOKU
The Dragon Ball franchise’s legendary hero returns to Manhattan’s streets. Dragon Ball, a Japanese anime series that first aired in the U.S. over 25 years ago, focuses on Goku, a Saiyan warrior who is peaceful, good-natured, loving & honest–many adjectives that describe the celebration of Thanksgiving.
Funko Grogu
The fan-favorite Funko Pop!-styled Grogu balloon commemorates the beloved Star Wars series The Mandalorian bringing adorableness back to our galaxy. This larger-than-life “precious cargo” is inspired by the Funko Pop! collectible.
Nickelodeon Paw Patrol
Hailing from Adventure Bay, PAW Patrol’s Chase takes to the sky this Thanksgiving. This fearless rescue pup from the globally beloved preschool series, PAW Patrol, is ready to come to the ruff-ruff rescue & show the citizens of New York that “no job is too big, no pup is too small.”
The Pokemon Company Pikachu and Eevee
Returning in their Poké Ball-inspired sleigh are Pikachu & Eevee, bringing smiles to everyone’s faces for the 22nd consecutive appearance of Pokémon in the Parade.
Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants and Gary
This optimistic sea sponge—so popular he’s mentioned on social media every five seconds—all smiles as he returns on Thanksgiving for his 19th appearance. Pet snail Gary accompanies SpongeBob, so get ready for some F-U-N!

The Boss Baby
The adorable suit-wearing, briefcase-carrying Boss Baby returns to the Parade this year. Don’t let his cute looks fool you, this big baby is all business in completing any secret mission he is assigned.
