This film marks Zelda Williams’ feature directorial debut who is the daughter of the late Robin Williams. “Lisa Frankenstein” brings together a talented cast and crew to bring this darkly humorous tale to life. The film is produced by the dynamic duo of Mason Novick and Diablo Cody. They previously collaborated on projects, including “Tully,” “Young Adult,” “Jennifer’s Body,” and the Oscar-winning hit “Juno.” The cast includes Kathryn Newton, Cole Sprouse, Liza Soberano, Henry Eikenberry, Joe Chrest, and Carla Gugino.
“Lisa Frankenstein” tells the story of a misunderstood teenager and her peculiar high school crush, who happens to be a handsome corpse. Their unconventional love story takes shape after a series of playfully horrific circumstances reanimate the deceased, leading them on a murderous journey to find love, happiness, and perhaps a few missing body parts.
