Lilo & Stitch, the 2002 animated film produced by Disney, is getting the live-action treatment. The movie tells the story of Lilo, a lonely Hawaiian girl who adopts a strange blue alien she names Stitch, who is an evil alien scientist created to cause chaos and destruction. However, despite Stitch’s mischievous and destructive tendencies, they form a bond and become friends.
The voice cast of the original movie includes Daveigh Chase as Lilo, Chris Sanders as Stitch, Tia Carrere as Nani (Lilo’s older sister), David Ogden Stiers as Jumba (the alien scientist who created Stitch), Kevin McDonald as Pleakley (Jumba’s reluctant assistant), and Ving Rhames as Cobra Bubbles (a social worker who is monitoring Nani’s ability to care for Lilo). The film was a critical and commercial success, receiving praise for its animation, story, and relationship between Lilo and Stitch. The movie also spawned several sequels, a television series, and other spin-offs. Now the live-action film is currently finalizing its cast which includes the following:
