Chris Evan’s Buzz Lightyear is just as good at Tim Allen’s.

The Toy Story world continues to grow with the latest Pixar film, Lightyear. Buzz and Woody have always had a friend in me since 1995. Every single Toy Story movie made me shed a tear. I may not have done so in Lightyear, but some moments will draw at your heartstrings.
Synopsis
Legendary space ranger Buzz Lightyear embarks on an intergalactic adventure alongside ambitious recruits Izzy, Mo, Darby, and his robot companion, Sox. As this motley crew tackles their most challenging mission, they must learn to work together as a team to escape the evil Zurg and his loyal robot army that is never far behind.
I was all in for Buzz Lightyear movie, and making this film be the actual movie Andy sees as a child in theaters is brilliant. This film is highly charming and does not hold back on non-stop action. Despite being a Pixar film, this movie easily appeals to an older demographic. Lightyear is an epic sci-fi adventure made for the big screen. The animation is beautiful and will captivate the audience with its imaginative world and attention to detail.
Chris Evans does a great job as Buzz, as you can hear many subtle similarities to Tim Allen’s Toy Story voice. However, audiences must remember that Evans is not voicing the hot-selling toy. However, this Buzz is a character in a Sci-Fi Epic played by a real actor in the Toy Story world. Think of this movie as the Star Wars in the world of Pixar. The script is well written. It delivers an intriguing plot and fun and charismatic characters. The movie’s breakout star is Sox, a robot cat who steals many laughs and smiles. In conclusion, Lightyear delivers a rich backstory of a beloved iconic character in pop culture history.

Verdict
I give Lightyear 4 out of 5 stars. This film is one of the best Pixar films in recent years. It is easily a fun theater experience for the entire family and don’t leave before three post credit scenes. It will be in theaters starting June 17th, 2022.
