Kraven The Hunter Spider-Man Spin-Off Finds Its Chameleon

It has been announced that Fred Hechinger has been cast in Sony’s Kraven The Hunter film. He will be playing Chameleon, Kraven’s half-brother, who is a master of disguises, known for his ability to impersonate anyone. Hechinger is known for White Lotus, Eighth Grade, News of the World, and The Woman in the Window. This is another Spider-Man spin-off following the likes of Venom and Morbius.

It will premiere in theaters on January 13th, 2023. 

Previously Russell Crowe was announced to have joined the film. Aaron Taylor-Johnson will star as Kraven. Taylor-Johnson has played in the super-hero realm before in Matthew Vaughn’s Kick-Ass and as Quicksilver in Marvel Studios Avengers: The Age of Ultron. Kraven is an anti-hero who first appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man No. 15. His best storyline is Kraven’s Last Hunt which debuted in 1980. It will be directed by J.C. Chandor with a script by Art Marcu, Matt Holloway, and Richard Wenk.
