Planet Of The Apes franchise continues with a new film.
“Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes is set to hit theaters nationwide on May 24, 2024. Director Wes Ball, known for the “Maze Runner” trilogy, helms the new film. It takes us on a gripping journey several generations into the future, where apes have become the dominant species, and humanity exists in the shadows. As a new tyrannical ape leader rises, a young ape embarks on a dangerous odyssey, forcing him to question his understanding of the past and make choices that will shape the destiny of both apes and humans. The cast features Owen Teague, Freya Allan, Kevin Durand, Peter Macon, and the incomparable William H. Macy. Watch the trailer below!
The Planet of the Apes franchise is a legendary and iconic series of science fiction films. It has captured the imaginations of audiences for over half a century. Pierre Boulle’s 1963 novel originally inspired the franchise. It took the world by storm with the release of the original film in 1968. The story explores a dystopian future where intelligent apes have risen to power while humans have become subjugated. With its thought-provoking themes on society, technology, and the consequences of human actions, the franchise has continued to evolve and expand. It has spawned numerous sequels, a television series, and a reboot series that debuted in 2011.
