Apple Original Films has shared an update for Martin Scorsese’s long-awaited “Killers of the Flower Moon.” It is now set to hit theaters worldwide on Friday, October 20. The film is a collaboration between Apple Original Films and Paramount Pictures. Watch the trailer below!
“Killers of the Flower Moon” boasts a star-studded cast, including Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro, and Lily Gladstone. These actors lead the charge in a tale of intrigue and terror set against the backdrop of 1920s Oklahoma. The film tells the chilling true story of the Reign of Terror, a series of serial murders targeting members of the Osage Nation, who were wealthy due to oil reserves on their land. This gripping narrative is an adaptation of the David Grann’s best-selling book of the same name. This source material has captivated readers with its blend of historical detail and suspenseful storytelling.
Earlier this year, the movie’s premiere at the 76th Cannes Film Festival was met with applause and a long-standing ovation. To elevate the viewing experience, “Killers of the Flower Moon” will also be available in IMAX theaters. After its theatrical release, it will be available on Apple TV+.
