Killers of the Flower Moon by Martin Scorsese is an Apple Studios film.
The highly anticipated Western crime saga “Killers of the Flower Moon” is set to hit theaters on October 6th. A release on Apple TV will follow. Based on a true story, the film tells the tale of Ernest Burkhart and Mollie Kyle’s unlikely romance amidst a backdrop of unimaginable betrayal. The renowned Martin Scorsese directs the film. It features an all-star cast, including Leonardo DiCaprio, Lily Gladstone, and Robert De Niro. Other notable cast members include Jesse Plemons, John Lithgow, Brendan Fraser, Tantoo Cardinal, Cara Jade Myers, JaNae Collins, and Jillian Dion. Watch the movie trailer below!
Synopsis
At the turn of the 20th century, oil brought a fortune to the Osage Nation, who became some of the richest people in the world overnight. The wealth of these Native Americans immediately attracted white interlopers, who manipulated, extorted, and stole as much Osage money as they could before resorting to murder.
