The franchise that started in 1984 is currently on the fifth season of its spin-off series Cobra Kai. The Netflix series stars original franchise cast members Ralph Macchio, William Zabka, Martin Kove, Thomas Ian Griffith, and Yuji Okumoto. Season 5 of Cobra Kai dropped on September 9th and is waiting to be renewed for a sixth season.
