Gerard Butler is an undercover CIA operative in Kandahar.
Gerard Butler, who starred recently in Plane, will star in the upcoming film Kandahar. Ric Roman Waugh directs it, who is known for Greenland, and Angel Has Fallen, both starring Butler. Also in this film are Iranian actors Navid Negahban and Elnaaz Norouzi. Ali Fazal and Travis Fimmel are also featured in this movie. It will be in theaters on May 26th, 2023. Watch the trailer below.
Synopsis
In KANDAHAR, Tom Harris (Gerard Butler), an undercover CIA operative, is stuck deep in hostile territory in Afghanistan. After his mission is exposed, he must fight his way out, alongside his Afghan translator, to an extraction point in Kandahar, all while avoiding elite enemy forces and foreign spies tasked with hunting them down.
