Josh Duhamel to star in 2nd season of The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers.

According to Deadline, Josh Duhamel has been tapped to star opposite Lauren Graham in the second season of The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers. Since Emilio Estevez decided to part ways with the show, Disney was scrambling to add another name to the series. Estevez told Deadline that the issues was about a contract dispute and creative differences. Duhamel will play a NHL player-turned-coach named Gavin Cole.

Series Synopsis

Set in present day Minnesota, the Mighty Ducks have evolved from scrappy underdogs to an ultra-competitive, powerhouse youth hockey team. After 12-year-old Evan Morrow (Brady Noon) is unceremoniously cut from the Ducks, he and his mom, Alex (Lauren Graham), set out to build their own team of misfits to challenge the cutthroat, win-at-all-costs culture of youth sports today.
