Hercules live-action film for Disney to be directed by Guy Ritchie.
It is being reported by Deadline that Disney’s Hercules is getting the live-action treatment. Director Guy Ritchie will be helming this adaptation for Disney. Ritchie is no stranger to Disney live-action films. He was behind the 2019 Aladdin film. The animated Hercules version hit theaters in 1997. It starred Tate Donovan, James Woods, Danny DeVito, Rip Torn, and Samantha Eggar. Ritchie is best known for collaborating with Jason Statham in movies like Snatch, Lock, Stock And Two Smoking Barrels, and Wrath of Man. Disney’s Hercules will be produced by the Russo brothers of Avengers: Endgame and their production company AGBO. Stay tuned for more details.
