Zachary Levi and Lil Rel Howery will star in Sony’s adaptation of Harold And The Purple Crayon.
Crockett Johnson’s best-selling children’s book Harold And The Purple Crayon is coming to the big screen. The book made its debut in 1955 and gained popularity quickly. and will now become a live-action film directed by Carlos Saldanha. Zachary Levi will star alongside Lil Rel Howery. The story is about a 4-year-old boy Harold as he goes on an epic adventure through his imagination with the help of a magical crayon.
It is currently set for a January 27, 2023 release.
Levi recently starred in Kurt Warner biopic American Underdog. He has also wrapped up filming Shazam: Fury of the Gods. Howery has been busy non-stop with movie after movie being released in 2021, such as Free Guy, Vacation Friends, National Championships, Space Jam: A New Legacy, and more.
